Times Tables

Free printable times tables worksheets: the full multiplication chart (1–9, 1–10 or 1–12) and endless random practice sheets for a single table or mixed factors. Print on A4 or save as PDF, answer key included.

Tip: turn off "Headers and footers" in the print dialog for a perfectly clean page.

One chart to read, endless sheets to drill

Learning times tables is two jobs: seeing the structure (why does the ×9 row count down the ones digit?) and drilling the facts until they're automatic. Print the chart once for the workbook cover, then generate practice sheets all year — one fixed table while it's being learned, mixed factors for revision, with an answer key so marking takes seconds.

Pair the drills with the addition and subtraction worksheets for younger siblings, or turn fluency practice into a game with the dice roller and the random number wheel.

FAQ

Chart or practice — which should I print?

The multiplication chart is a reference sheet: the whole table up to ×9 (the classic 九九 table), ×10 or ×12, at a glance. Practice sheets are the drill: 20–60 problems like “7 × 8 = __”, either all from one table (great for learning the ×6s) or mixed (great for revision once every table has been introduced).

Why does the chart default to 9×9?

The 9×9 grid follows the classic Chinese 九九 multiplication table that billions of students learn with. If your curriculum goes further — most US schools expect facts up to 12 — switch “Largest factor” to 10 or 12 and both the chart and the practice sheets follow.

How do I practice a single table, like ×7?

Set Mode to "Practice", then pick ×7 in the Table menu. The sheet covers every factor from 1 up to your largest factor (shuffled, so it can't be answered by counting), topped up with extras if you asked for more problems. Choose "Mixed" for random cross-table practice.

Is there an answer key?

Yes — tick "Include answer key" and a second page prints after the worksheet with every product filled in. You get one PDF or printout with both, so students can mark their own work.

How do I print a worksheet or get a PDF?

Press "Download PDF" above the sheet to save a ready-to-print A4 file, or press "Print" to open your browser's print dialog and print it right away. Turning off the browser's "Headers and footers" option gives you the cleanest page.

Are these worksheets free? Can I use them in my classroom?

Yes — every worksheet on ClassCaddy is free for personal and classroom use: homework, math stations, morning work, tutoring, homeschool. You can print as many copies as you need. The only thing you can't do is sell the sheets or republish them as your own.
