Connect the Dots

Free printable dot-to-dot worksheets — connect the numbers or letters in order and a hidden picture appears. Three fresh puzzles on every A4 sheet, print or save as PDF.

A puzzle that draws itself

Dot-to-dot is sneaky practice: number order, pencil control and anticipation in one worksheet. These pages print three mystery outlines per A4 sheet — connect the labeled dots in order, close the final loop, and a house, a rocket or a butterfly appears. Switch between number dots and letter dots to double the practice from the same picture set.

When the picture is done, color it in — or keep the momentum going with the counting worksheets, the letter tracing pages, or a quick spin of the random letter generator.

FAQ

How does connect the dots work?

Find the dot labeled 1 (or A), draw a short line to dot 2, then to dot 3, and so on until the numbers run out. The last dot connects back to the first one to close the picture — that final line is usually the big reveal.

Numbers or letters — which should I choose?

Number dots double as counting practice (what comes after 7?), letter dots drill alphabet order the same way. They cover the same pictures, so children can redo a favorite puzzle in the other mode and it feels brand new.

The dots look random — is that the point?

Yes — every puzzle prints as scattered dots with tiny labels, exactly like classic activity books. The fun is the reveal: three mystery outlines per sheet, and no two sheets need the same pictures. Print the answer... or better, let the pencil do the revealing.

How do I print a worksheet or get a PDF?

Press "Download PDF" above the sheet to save a ready-to-print A4 file, or press "Print" to open your browser's print dialog and print it right away. Turning off the browser's "Headers and footers" option gives you the cleanest page.

Are these worksheets free? Can I use them in my classroom?

Yes — every worksheet on ClassCaddy is free for personal and classroom use: homework, math stations, morning work, tutoring, homeschool. You can print as many copies as you need. The only thing you can't do is sell the sheets or republish them as your own.
