Using the wheel of names takes about ten seconds:

• Add names — type them one per line, use Quick add, or click “Paste import” to paste a column straight from Google Sheets, Excel or any CSV.
• Spin — press the SPIN button or click the wheel itself. The pointer slows down naturally and the winner appears in a banner.
• Keep picking — enable “Remove winner” and each chosen name leaves the wheel automatically, so everyone gets a turn exactly once.

Everything you type stays in your browser — names are never uploaded to a server.

Calling on the same hand-raisers every day is a well-known classroom bias. A random name wheel keeps every student engaged because anyone might be next, and it removes the awkwardness of choosing “fairly” by feel. Teachers use it for question-asking, turn order, jobs and duties, prize draws, vocabulary reviews and brain breaks.

Yes — and you don't have to take our word for it. The winner is selected before the animation starts using the browser's cryptographic random number generator, the same source used for security, with rejection sampling to eliminate modulo bias.
